Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner Review

Summary of the video:

In response to customer feedback, Dear Klairs have come out with an unscented version of their original (and fiercley popular) Supple Preparation Facial Toner. The OG is one of my favourite skincare products so I was super interested in finding out how this one ranked up beside it. And honestly? It's just as good- for some folks, it may even be better.

The main difference between the new unscented toner and the original is right there in the title. There are no fragrances or essential oils in the new unscented toner. This is excellent news for a lot of folks because of the irritation fragrances can cause. It also makes the ingredient list entirely transparent as some brands (I'm sure Klairs don't) can hide a whole lot of nasties under the title 'fragrance.' Otherwise, the ingredients are exactly the same- the new Klairs toner simply omits the nice smelling stuff so that more people can use it.

The best thing about the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner is its calming and hydrating properties. The centella asiatica extract and b-glucan work together to create a seriously relaxing anti-inflammatory that boosts the hydration in your skin. I'm a big fan of centella, and this toner is a wonderful addition to my centella addiction. The calming effects are almost immediate, and the hydration will leave yo skin dry no more.

Something this toner boasts over the original is a faster rate of absorption. This may be a result of the fragrance/essential oil free situation, but it definitely does absorb faster into my skin. It makes a really good base for the rest of your skincare- it feels as though my following skincare routine is more effective after using it.

Overall, it is just as great as the original. If I had to choose, I would choose the original, simply because I find the scent of it calming in and of itself. However, both products are pretty equal and definitely worth your money and time.
